<text>Much better than anything I've used in the past. Great performance, Intuitive design, it can even clip web pages. Oh, and look, it even synchronizes between Macintosh, Windows, and has a web interface. Something that MS can't get right with it's Outlook/Entourage mess.</text>

<description>Evernote is a software application that allows users to capture information of various types, including text notes, mobile phone snapshots, printed and handwritten text within images, web clips, and digital ink. All data added to Evernote are run through a series of recognizers that make any text within the various note formats searchable. The application uses a continuous &quot;roll of paper&quot; metaphor for its user interface. Additionally, users may create folders, categories, and notebooks.</description>

<text>As with all VNC clients, needs improvement. I am glad that this is included with Leopard now. Though I wish the Back to my Mac was a bit more configurable. My computer at home is double-NAT'd meaning I can't use that feature. I can still manually connect to it with the VNC:// call.</text>

<description>To make it easy to manage the daunting number of passwords and permissions intrinsic to network computing, Mac OS X includes a Keychain. The Keychain stores all your information to use encrypted disk images and to log onto file servers, FTP servers and Web servers. Mac OS X automatically adds your .Mac account information to your Keychain. When you log in to Mac OS X, the system opens your Keychain. You don&#8217;t have to enter your user name and passwords to access this data. You can set Mac OS X to lock your Keychain when the system sleeps or is inactive for a time. The system will ask you for your password the next time you try to access secure data. Other users on the system cannot access your Keychain or its data.</description>

    <text>Has 2008 improved over 2004? Yes.
Has 2008 met my expectations? No.
Entourage 2008 does not have the same feature set as Outlook 2007 for Windows. The ONLY reason I'm using it is because I need to connect into the exchange server. I'm very disappointed in the fact that tasks, notes, categories, and a plethora of other items are missing that are available from the PC version. Mail does have exchange support for e-mail but I'm still looking for a replacement for all the other items; calendar, notes, tasks, etc.</text>

<text>I use this at work. It's a great utility to have to synchronizing documents up to a server. One thing I realsized early on is that a few of the apple I use, like MS Word, do not play nice with network documents. So I work on these locally and then use FolderSynchronizer to automatically copy the file up whenever it changes. This also keeps each file, as-is. It's like I copied the files up via the Finder; it doesn't wrap the files in some kind of proprietary format like Apples Backup utility does. This way I can still open the files when I'm on a Windows PC computer.

It could still use a little work but overall, its a good solid utility.</text>
