<text>Features: Satisfactory. Has what you need for basic types of things, but would have been better if you could update the phone software with this.
Performance: Satisfactory. Extremely slow at transferring files to and from the mobile to PC. 50 pictures took the best part of 30 minutes, and it even crashed about half way through. Not overly impressed.
Interface: Good. Looks clean looking, although there is quite a lot of text where there shouldn't be. Clean it up Samsung!
Price / Value: Excellent. The only real thing it has going for it. No cost... but then again, who would really pay for something so basic?</text>

<description>The EasyStudio or PC Studio consists of a File Manager and Personal Information Manager (PIM) application which offers the capability of transferring content such as ringtones and wallpapers, and updating of PIM data between handset and PC, depending which model phone and version of the software is being used. The EasyStudio or PC Studio Data Kit comes with a CD and a Serial or USB cable for connectivity to your PC. Please note different versions of the software will offer different capabilities and tethering methods dependent upon the model of the handset.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: File Manager capabilities do not include extraction of data from the handset to a PC or other handset. The options are for transfer of content from PC, to phone only. The transfer of content from the PC would be content such as images specifically compatible with your model phone (format and size) or ringtones.</description>

<text>IMO, probably the best application for burning media. Times have changed, and during the last several years the installer has increased in size year after year to the point that it is now considered &quot;bloatware&quot;.

The v6 suite was at the most ~33MB, while v9 is circa 380MB. The majority of new features are not needed by many and subsequently choose to install &quot;Nero Lite&quot; or &quot;Nero Micro&quot; from UpdatPack.nl (I'm suprised no one has mentioned this amazing website yet!)

The interface is quite clean, and does what you need it to and the performance is relatively decent.

Nero 9 is advertised at &#163;49.99 for download only, &#163;59.99 for a boxed version, with an additional &#163;6.99 required for an update disc. To me these prices, compared to other leading brands is its main downfall. They really can't be justified, especially when there are alternatives which are free and just as easy to use.</text>

<text>Interesting reviews here... Almost as if trained monkeys were let loose on keyboards and enticed to vote 5 stars for everything.

Whilst I do stress this application is a must have for anyone &quot;in the know&quot;, it is far from perfect. It's resource hungry, and the latest version has only made things even worse with reports of the software taking as much as 5 mins to properly load up on a high specification system.

The interface is clean, with easy to find options for what you want - and should you get stuck on anything, there's always someone around who can help you. Failing that, there's always Youtube.

Lastly... the price is nothing short of disgusting. Adobe seem to think that anything they produce is worthy of a price tag that wouldn't go amiss next to a brand new car in a showroom. They don't even compare when viewing the official prices from different countries, with huge discrepancies due to their monopoly. $699 in the US vs. $830 in the UK for exactly the same product.

How some of you can literally hold your heads high after voting this a 5/5 for value is beyond belief.

Overall, a decent software... probably the best, but seriously let down by the resources it needs to run, and the pricing that Adobe seem to enjoy increasing each year.</text>

<text>Ahhh... eMule. I remember using this application when I was in my teens. It's free, but that's about all it has going for it. I used this application for a few years back in the day, after Kazaa was taken down and infiltrated by the powers that be. Napster was also gone at this stage, and most p2p started moving to alternative methods such as eMule and BT.

Speeds are generally poor, unless you've left it running for several hours to secure connections, and the GUI isn't overly impressive.

Due to the lack of security (even with additional software to combat this), I avoided eMule &amp; BT (after people started getting notices) and chose a far more reliable, speedier and security enhanced alternative known as Usenet. I haven't looked back.

Pros: Easy to use. Simple for those who don't know any better. Probably the best way to find those more obscure files that no other application / tool can beat.

Cons: Lack of security to the point where it's open season with the &quot;powers that be&quot;. Servers normally need to be installed manually by list online. GUI is pretty awful.

Verdict: Avoid unless there's something you really want to get which is obscure / unique. There are far better alternatives.</text>

<description>eMule is a peer-to-peer file sharing application for Microsoft Windows. Started in May 2002 as an alternative to eDonkey2000, eMule now connects to both the eDonkey network and the Kad network. The distinguishing features of eMule are the direct exchange of sources between client nodes, fast recovery of corrupted downloads, and the use of a credit system to reward frequent uploaders. Furthermore, eMule transmits data in zlib-compressed form to save bandwidth.</description>

<text>I've been using Winamp since it was first released. I've been a steadfast follower of this application during the last decade and can safely say it's the best music player available to date.

I wasn't impressed with AOL's involvement, and subsequent pricing structure as Winamp was always available for free (and technically still is) albeit with additional items you can choose not to install or keep.

Online radio stations are pretty impressive, with the quality of the vast majority excellent.

Online TV Shows / Films are satisfactory but due to bandwidth issues (on the streamers side) it may be difficult to join one, as they're normally full. Good parental controls available which is a nice touch.</text>

<description>Winamp is a proprietary media player written by Nullsoft, a subsidiary of AOL Time Warner. It is skinnable, multi-format freeware / shareware.

Key features of Winamp 5

&#183; Winamp can use both Modern and Classic skins, so you can be both hip and retro at the same time.
&#183; Winamp gives you easy and organized access to your favorite media. That's what you call mass media
&#183; Winamp can play a huge variety of audio and video formats right out of the box... err... out of the installation.
&#183; You get access to hundreds of free audio and video channels in the Media Library. This ain't your father's library.
&#183; Winamp can burn your music to CDs.
&#183; Winamp makes it easy to create and manage your favorite songs through playlists. Yes, you can be your own DJ.
&#183; Winamp allows you to extend it's functionality through the use of &quot;plug-ins&quot; Its like the Mr. Potato Head of music.
&#183; Winamp will allow you to alter the sound of your music through a built-in Equalizer. An audio receiver right on your PC.
&#183; Winamp allows you to watch visual effects that are driven from your music with Visualizations. From flaming fireballs to screaming strobe effects, its all there.</description>

<text>As a standalone video player, it's excellent. Combined with the relevant codecs for playing those file formats you so wish to use, it's an enjoyable experience.

As a music player, it's let down slightly and as such, I tend to sway more towards Winamp (which I've used for many years) to play all my musical needs.</text>
