As many iPhone and iPod touch owners have discovered, Apple's iTunes App Store has many flaws which render it useless to the common user. Apple has chosen to allow a multitude of ridiculous, worthless, poorly-represented applications through its "strict" screening process, nearly all written by mediocre programmers with a dream of getting rich quick. Many of these programmers game the reviews system, misrepresent their application in the description, and generally try to swindle the honest buyer. Applications generally do not cost much, but small fees add up. The iPhone/iPod community has wasted so much money on these programs, an epidemic has taken hold where people have simply stopped buying apps they aren't certain of so they don't find themselves purchasing yet another waste of a program.

<text>Great game, amazing and deep. The learning curve can be steep (personally woundn't say so) but there is a lot of knowledge in the eve-wiki and around the web, and also there is a very friendly Rookie Help channel in game. The only problem with the game is that it can take away the remains of you reallife :).

Runs perfect on the Mac Pro, although the Mac version (which is really a cider-wrapped windows version) uses up to 80% cpu resources of the 2x4-core xeon, according to the 'top' utility :).</text>

Eve Online is a player-driven persistent-world massively multiplayer online game set in a science fiction space setting. Players pilot customizable ships through a universe comprising over five thousand solar systems. Most solar systems are connected to one or more other solar systems by means of jump gates. The solar systems can contain several entities including but not limited to: moons, planets, stations, asteroid belts and complexes.

Players of Eve Online are able to participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, manufacturing, trade and combat (both player versus environment and player versus player). The range of activities available to the player is facilitated by a character advancement system based upon training skills in real time, even while not logged in to the game.

It is developed and maintained by the Icelandic company CCP Games. First released in North America and Europe in May 2003, it was published from May to December 2003 by Simon & Schuster Interactive, after which CCP purchased the rights back and began to self-publish via a digital distribution scheme. On January 22, 2008 it was announced that Eve will be distributed via Steam. The current version of Eve Online is dubbed Apocrypha, released on March 10 2009.

LittleSnapper is an easy way to make screenshots of websites and archive them in an iTunes-like interface. Capturing snaps of entire webpages, as well as areas of your screen, has never been easier. LittleSnapper's menu item and global keyboard shortcuts allow you to capture webpages without leaving your browser, safe in the knowledge that the snap is automatically added to you library to work with later.

<text>Awesome game, i'm sure it's the best experience in my 20+ years of gaming.

Regarding the perfomance, it works perfect (~50 fps) on the dual quadcore xeon with 4gb ram (Apple Mac Pro) under the XP SP3, although I can't run it in 1920x1200, it forcefully sets 1680x1050, i think it's because of 8800GT/512, probably it needs 1gb of video ram.

The only real problem is the controls. I hate the ASDW mapping, and there is no way to remap it (I used to arrow keys). But it's the common problem of all console ports.

Now, back to shooting :). The damn game ruined my RL! :D</text>

Grand Theft Auto IV follows the experiences of Nikolai "Niko" Bellic, an immigrant from an undisclosed eastern European country, whose troubled pa st and the persuasion of his cousin Roman have brought him to the fictional Liberty City. Unfortunately, Niko’s search for the American Dream and a much needed fresh start, hits an immediate snag when the rags to riches story Roman spun to pique Niko's interest is exposed as not only a complete fabrication, but a ploy to enlist Niko’s well-known skills as a tough guy against the ample list of enemies clamoring for Roman’s debt-ridden blood.

Because Roman is the only person Niko knows in Liberty City he begrudgingly accepts his role as Roman’s protector despite the deception. But as time goes on Niko comes into his own, and his experience on the wrong side of the tracks proves more valuable than he could have ever imagined as he fights for survival and later supremacy on the crime ridden streets of Liberty City.

Colloquy is an open-source IRC, SILC and ICB client for Mac OS X. It uses its own chat core that is also included as part of the ChatKit project, though in the past it used Irssi as its IRC protocol engine. Its developers' goal is to offer a robust IRC, SILC and ICB experience to users while blending seamlessly with the look and feel of other Mac OS X applications. To this end, Colloquy provides a user interface that is consistent with Apple's Human interface guidelines in addition to traditional IRC command-line controls. Colloquy also has comprehensive support for scripting and can be automated using Applescript.
