Best web browser I've used to date. Greasemonkey, add-ons, everything, it's just so customizable, and works great.

An amazing word processor. I've grown up on Word; from when I had my first PC and typed a paragraph for school, to now, when I use it to write articles and novels. It's intutive, customizable, and unique from the rest.

Amazingly fast with fonts, designs, and images.

It does what it says: distraction free writing, which leaves you not to focus on your word count, or your font choice, but just your writing, your characters, and your plot.

An easy to use, but useful animation program. 2D's never looked better on the Mac. Plus, it's free.

Manages my notes in a simple manner, and stays in my menu bar, where it's out of the way until I need to consult it. Simple, intutive, and much better than Evernote.

Twitter is the best social network, hands down. With messages so short, it allows more knowledge to be consumed faster, and easier.

YouTube's always provided me the largest collection of videos, in many different categories, and an extremely supportive community (for the most part.)

Tumblr is a simple blogging platform, that allows you to choose from six different types of posts, and simply express what you're thinking. Also has tools for collaboration, making it even more useful.
