• OpenVPN GUI is my VPN client of choice for all our Windows PCs. It lacks a little polish, and isn't as intuitive as it could be for new users, but its a worthy app and can be taught to our users in 2 minutes.
• I leave iStat running on most of my Macs to constantly monitor disk, network and CPU metrics.
• We're committed and totally satisfied Gmail via Google Apps Premier users at Illuminant Partners. The web, pop3, SMTP and IMAP performance is all excellent and the conversation threading is, to my mind, the key killer feature amongst several.
• I evaluated and demo'ed every password manager for iPhone before settling for SplashID. I also use the Windows desktop version for simple and lightning-fast WiFi sync between the two. I trust SplashID even if it's human interface is a litle dated.
• We run our business on Google Docs Premier. Its an impressive and extremely flexible office productivity suite.
• My favourite RSS reader on all platforms I use.
• I've been a long-term Flickr Pro user. I've just paid for 4th annual fee. I also pay for Pro accounts for my business, my wife, and my daughter... Flickr Pro is *that* good.
• The only map app I ever use, because it satisfies all my needs.
• I'm crazy for Google Calendar. Every calendar app that came before (for me, notably Outlook) is junk compared to Google Cal.
• The best Twitter app I've used. Highly recommended.
