I did actually find out what caused need for reinstalling drivers for this app. If not disconnected correctly, it can happen that the device is not found over USB. @tovmeod: as far consider overheating, I bought a 4 meters long USB cable, so I can place it away from notebook. But apparently you've got PCIE card.
I don't have this problem, but from time to time the connection just stops working. I usually assume overheating (so it's not the sw problem), so I unplug the pcie card, wait for it to coold down and reconnect, usually works
Strange thing about this mobile connection dialer is, that every while I have to reinstall drivers. If not, device is not detected. Sounds very much like bug to me.
