Great zip software
Indispensable, il peut même fouiller dans les images .iso. Léger, libre, dispo en version 64-bits, à installer obligatoirement.
its free its usable and its geeky now if some made ie more feature prone and more of a intuitive interface of the modern days many would be pleased
Reliably zips and un-zips (and rars and un-rars). I like that 7-Zip uses multi-threading to take advantage of dual core processors. Still...it could be a bit faster. :p Feature set is pretty close to WinRAR.

When you want to archive something, nothing beats 7-zip. Free, and so powerfull. You need no other similar tools, really.
Compression rates are best there are when saving in it's nativ 7z format, offers creation of self-extracting archives through simple user interface, and will work with common file types like rar/zip/iso without any problems. Highly recommended!

A great archiver/unarchiver. just wish i could get a version without the complete file manager.
There are tho kinds of archivers - 7zip and the rest. There is no other program close to it.
Excellent archiver/dearchiver that can handle almost any archive you throw at it. The interface is a bit ugly though.
