The best audio app i use, and i use a lot. If you can afford it, even if you
don't prefer this type of work-flow, it's worth your time to adjust to it
because Live is amazing.
Live is software that looks simple on the outside, but once you dive in
you'll never turn back. Sequencing is done automatically (and beautifully, I
might add), the interface is clean and intuitive, and everything works as it
should. My only problem is that the standard library is a bit on the small
side.
The version that comes with the M-Audio Oxygen control surfaces is not only
old, but also very stripped down.

I do all my audio stuff with it, if it's recording, making live sets, etcetera.. Amazing software.. bit pricy though (as is with all audio software)

It came with my Oxygen8 v2 midi-keyboard. Doesn't seem as good as Reason or Sonar.
My preferred software for making music...Great for live or studio applications. You name it, Ableton does it!!!
