This is perhaps my favorite IM client of all time for any OS. It is very
customizable which is a huge plus for me, tabbed conversations is great, and I
love being able to tell it to hide contacts that aren't online, which doesn't
involve a dropdown list like most other IM clients, it just hides them all
together. I'd recommend this application to any Mac user, it's a pretty powerful
client that other companies should be taking a look at.

developer of the application joined Apple, may be we will see elements of Aduium
within the upcoming version iChat by Apple.
Simply the best IM client out there. Simple and fun to use, Adium is a must
have for anyone on OSX. Some folks might not know this, but Adium uses the same
libpurple back-end that Gaim (Pidgeon) uses.
Adium makes my friends on other platforms jealous. I love it.
