Adobe Flex is a collection of technologies released by Adobe Systems for the development and deployment of cross platform, rich Internet applications based on the proprietary Adobe Flash platform. The initial release in March 2004 by Macromedia included a software development kit, an IDE, and a J2EE application server known as Flex Data Services. the BEST. for rich internet application developers
Perfect. true multi-plataform framework.
Having worked with many IDEs over the last year, on enterprise level, when things get really complex and need frameworks, tools and extensions, Flex Builder is, at least for me, the best development workbench for Rich Internet Applications by far (but I am closly watching Silverlight integration into Visual Studio as well, as both, Silverlight and VS are getting better with every release).
The perfect tool for flash webapps developers and interface designers.
Very good development tool, but I think Wakoopa doesn't track it properly.
