Agent Ransack is a Windows freeware utility for searching for files and in files. It is made by Mythicsoft, and is a cut-down "lite" version of the commercial software FileLocator Pro. Features include: regular expressions, expression wizard, and customization options.

This program rules. It's faster and better and actually works unlike the search/find built into windows, i have actually entered text in a file with notepad and used the find in files feature of xp and it turned up nothing. What useless crap.
Has saved my life a couple times.
Perfect for 'brute force' search in source files. The interface is a bit '95-like.
