I still haven't found a better free alternative on Windows.
This program was listed as an application I was using erroneously. I decided to check it out because it sounded pretty cool. It has a couple of redeeming features, but over all I find it useless as a true alarm clock program.
The program that I have been using instead is called Banshee Screamer Alarm Clock. I have tried numerous different alarm clock software, and banshee screamer is truly the only one that I've found to be even usable as an alarm clock.
very simple, very handy, very lightweight
A very simple little alarm that gets the job done, all the time. It has enough bells and whistles to play around with, but not enough to confuse the hell out of you when you just want to set a time for ten minutes later...A+ in my book.
I'm a big lover of simplicity and this little program does everything I need and does it perfectly. Although it's not aesthetically pleasing and isn't packed with lots of features (a good thing in my eyes) it is the best alarm software I've ever used (and I've tried plenty).
This could also be "Chaos Alarm Monitor" from Time&Chaos. which I run exclusively, not this description says.
