I used to like it until I discovered NetBeans which was just faster and has all the features I need for a PHP IDE.
That is a good IDE...
I use it to develop javascript scripts, and it make easy my work...

I use it with the RadRails plugin. It's hard to decide whether to use Aptana RadRails or Netbeans. I mainly use Aptana though because I really like the unit testing interface. Both are pretty good.

I agree that they should work on performance issues.
From version 1.5 it becomes to slow for big css files (~60kB). Aptana become frozen for a while (2~3sec).
Yeah, it seems working slower than 'pure' Eclipse.
In my opinion Aptana rocks, its powerful, easy and its Free.
Has potential, but seems slightly buggy and bloated for me, certainly worth a shot will be waiting for the future releases.
Awesome coding environment with all the bells and whistles us web developers are likely to need without it being a bloated beast. Being based on Eclipse it's no speedy lightweight but fast enough for production use.
Downside: not all keyboard shortcuts work as advertised.
Aptana Studio 1.5.0 is awesome!!!
This is a great IDE for php and javascript development, especially with the "plugins".
