The 24th most popular player on Linux

Ario is a GTK+ music player client for the Music Player Daemon. It runs on Linux and Microsoft Windows. Ario uses a tabbed interface with separate tabs for the playlist, music library, searches, file system and internet radio. The library browser is inspired by Rhythmbox but Ario aims to be much lighter and faster. Ario offers an extensive plugin API which allows plugins to extensively modify the interface. The file system and internet radio tabs are implemented as plugins. The newest version features a dynamic playlist using similar artist data from Last.fm, similar to a feature found in Exaile and Amarok.
