We hosted our on trac and subversion server for a few months - and the cost of a single upgrade or having to add a few users and train them is well worth using Assembla
great combo of tools at a great price
code repository + ticketing + collaboration ... what more could you ask for less than $20 a month (for the whole team)
Do not know other service that can provide big feature set at such low price. They also give for free to open-source projects the same feature set with 500Mb storage for git/svn/trac/mercurial tools.
