best free virus killer ever
Avast! (free version) works without problems on my WinXP. It's an efficient and no-nonsense app. Can't say if it's the best anti-virus app or not since I've used this one for a long time. One thing I would like changed is when you let it check a hard drive for viruses it stops and ask 'what u wanna do?' each time it finds something. Quite annoying really.

Best antivirus for home usage! It's realy thrifty for resources and easy to use and update!
Free version is good. I like it more than AVG, and I've spent expansive time with both. Personal preference, I however don't like that it doesn't run scans automatically on my machine. I'm too lazy to look through the setup options to find out how to do that, I'm sure there's a feature for it.

I've been using it for about a year with good results. I never have an trouble. AVG for a while like most and was unhappy with it.
Preforms well, not a system hog. Highly recommended. Interface is simple and easy to use.
