One of the best free anti-virus programs so far, as it seems. It's not the only one I use, but still the most probate.
I use it again after every other app failed. I think it is okay.

By far the best free anti-virus program. Very low in resources, very high in detection rates. Excellent choice for low-end machines.
Good antivirus, but it is not protect us against scripts, in GIF files !!!!!
The free version of Avira is excellent for the average user. Protects from a variety of things harmful to your computer. The upgrade notifications however are extremely annoying.
Free way to clean your computer from Nod32 permitted badware. :)
