Used to be a huge Amarok fan, after this came standard on Opensuse 11.2 with GNOME, I've fallen in love with it. It's so clean, I love the GUI. Album and Artist sorting is so intuitive.

Video compatibility is definitely weak right now though.

nice for mp3s, though it lacks some features I have in foobar on win, but I prefer banshee to oversimplified Exaile or huge and buggy Amarok. but video support is clearly weak and lacks lots of important functions, so i'm with SMplayer there.

A great lightweight music player with good support for media players. Also can read several different formats. Plus it works great with the media buttons on my keyboard which is a must for me.

Not Rhythmbox iTunes-wannabe, nit Amarok Winamp-brother, just something between. That's exactly what I want!

Awesome I love it :) Not quite up there with Amarok, and it's not perfect, but probably my 2nd favourite after Amarok!

This program is really easy to use and works great with my ipod. I'd just like to see (more) plug-ins for this player!

i was thinking that rythmbox is all what i need, but banshee surprised me with more clear, itunes-like gui and mp3 player support.
hope that banshee will be default music player in ubuntu

Great app, it simply works better than Rhythmbox. The most valuable thing is that it supports uPNP and iTunes servers. I have a net hard disk so I store there all my music instead of filling my laptop hard disk. Interface is charm but it need more attention for 5 stars.
