The 4th most popular development manager on the Web
Basecamp takes a fresh, novel approach to project collaboration. Projects don't fail from a lack of charts, graphs, stats, or reports, they fail from a lack of clear communication. Basecamp solves this problem by providing tools tailored to improve the communication between people working together on a project. Edit

This is a great app for project management. It's very easy to use which makes it accessible for many project members. Personally, I'd like to see more advanced features but as a tech guy I find less people use the more advanced systems. This is so simple that other folks on the project tend to use it. A system is only good if everyone on the project uses it.
Excellent tool for collaborating on projects with in-house team and external teams alike.
Still my favorite tool for agile project collaboration. I like the iPhone integration, the interface could advance but it's well arranged.
37Signals provided the goods as always. Works wonders.
Nice colloboration system. Unfortunately it could be better.
The best. Nothing better.
Perfect for collaborative projects
Frequently fails to load properly for me..running firefox on OSX.
Boa plataforma para gerenciamento de projetos, mas a versão gratuita é limitada.
No more, no less....just the needed Features
Basecamp is simple and useful. The pricing is higher than it should be, but worth it for most people. Performance seems good, but their css files are fairly large at 170k. There is some optimization that could be done there for a 5/5 for performance.
