The 8th most popular email client on Windows

Becky! is a no-nonsense e-mail client, suitable for those who prefer a lightweight such. Becky! still has quite advanced features for searching, distributing of mail into different folders etc. But no calender, chat or fancy stuff that a serious user dosn't need (or want). Can show messages in html and text format. Combined with spamfilter K9 you can have 97% of all spam sorted into a spam folder.

I've used it since 1996, it is loaded with features for email (which is positive) and none other like chatting or blogging (which is positive). It stores messages very efficiently in one folder that can be backed-up easily. I keep email since 1997 in 5 hidden mailboxes and 5 active ones. It has a one-click tab for accessing the message header, it has a "what's new" window that shows all new messages in all mailboxes, automatic sorting to folders. And ... you can view the text-content instead of html and disable scripts in messages. My all-time favorite!

"Becky! Internet Mail" is not a messenger, as it is described here: http://wakoopa.com/software/becky-internet-mail
It's an ordinary e-mail client. Been using it for years.
