Good for downloading files. The ads are annoying, but can be hidden easily, and in general gets better speeds than a lot of the other torrent clients.

good to start with, but once you know what your doing, go with utorrent.
For some reason i can download faster in Bitlord than in Utorrent. Great software, easy to use interface.
Can break a .torrent file apart and grab individual files, and create download priorities for those files. Perfect when pulling things like discographies or television seasons.
I use BitLord too...i downloaded it along time ago...It works as a torrent down/uploader...has minimal branding...I think newer versions are more embedded with advertising(although i could wrong here) and so would not trust downloading present version. If you are looking for a torrent program i would suggest the lightweight and clean (no spyware/advertising) Utorrent program. I'm using version 0.56 to bitlord, and it works great!
bitlord is one of the worst clients out there because it's based on old buggy BitComet code.
Get Azureus or Utorrent instead.
