M-am "jucat" putin cu Blender si m-a impresionat! Este usor de invatat functiile de baza si exista o multime de comunitati, tutoriale, biblioteci cu materiale, texturi, modele. Este in permanenta dezvoltare. Si e o alternativa pe masura pentru 3DS Max

It's blender...what can I say.

I came to Blender after 8 years on Cinema 4D. At first I was a bit skeptical but now I can't imagine going back. Cinema 4D was the best tool for Mac back than. Before that I was using Alias Wavefront but since it was Silicon Graphics only I needed to switch. The step from Cinema v5 to v6 was great. But until v10 it didn't really evolve.

After just a week in Blender I could model faster than ever. It's also easier to create clean models and you can create your own workflow. And with version 2.50 it will even look nice :-)

Amazingly awesome software - free; a relatively small download; yet it's packed with features that you'd only expect to find in software costing 100s (or even 1000s!) of dollars.

There's quite a steep learning curve, but that's only because it has so many features.

I love it. For me, it's one of the best things about owning a computer!

Awesome program, although sometimes it tends to crash unexpectedly.

Although Blender's current interface is good, the next version (2.5) will feature a complete revamp of the GUI. There are plenty of tutorials around the web to help beginners gain experience with this application.

blender is awesome, blender is free and its on linux too i use it mostly when im in the linux side seems to work better for me on linux.
