The 10th most popular audio/video manager on Mac OS X

Bowtie is a free application that allows you to control iTunes with shortcuts, submits your songs to Last.fm, and supports a very simple, yet very powerful, xhtml + css + javascript based theming system. Edit

Finally, a Last.FM scrobbler that doesn't get in my way. About time. It's other features are great too. It's very simple, which is what I like.

The best, free or otherwise, iTunes controller I've found. Dozens of themes for it are available and it is very customisable. My favourite feature is the Search function which I find to be indispensable now; it works similarly to Spotlight and hunts your music down as you type.

The only way this could be better imo is if it could link with programs like Spotify as well.

    Still a bit buggy.

Sometimes doesn't update the playing track, sometimes closes or launches on its own (seems to be bound iCal or some other app it's mistaking for iTunes.

I was looking for a small app that made it easy to 'star' and Bowtie nailed it! It's a bit weird that the default install is without themes and so doesn't work xD Beside this it's a really good looking little app that made my day!

The fact that you can not turn on iTunes through bowtie makes it a bit pointless IMHO. If you have to turn on iTunes yourself, why use and iTunes controlling app? If they can address that, I'd use it again because it is attractive and has themes so you can customize the look of it.

I think it's got a lot of potential since it is only in early stages of development (first public beta). I just love the ease of themeing it thanks to the powerful WebKit engine.

I'm looking forward to updates and more features! *thumbs up*
