It uses a lot of memory true, but then I tend to only be running this and photoshop when importing and editing photographs, which is my primary use for it.

Obviously is resource hungry, but if you have thousands of image files that you want to browse for material, to date I have found little else that compares

I hate it! i don't know why i must use this app? i browse my files from windows explorer, so why adobe bridge? it's just a huge wast memory user!!!!

its hard to explain the hatred i have for this app, its high memory consume makes everything lag as soon as you open it.
bridge surprise attacks (accidental keyboard shortcut or click in the PS Br icon) when working with PS in a low ram pc its a killing lag bomb.

excluding that, its a good photo manager.

If you are not on Leopard, then Adobe Bridge is an excellent browser for Adobe Files. However if you are using Leopard, then Coverflow and Quicklook kind of render it useless. Again, the problem with Bridge is similar to the problem with all of Adobes Apple Apps. They are bloated and do not take advantage of OSX frameworks like Core Image, Data, etc.
