Share
Burnout Paradise (formerly known as Burnout 6) by Criterion Games is the seventh game in the Burnout video game series. It was released in January 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was also released on the PlayStation Store in September 2008 and will be available on Microsoft Windows from February 2009. It has an open world set in the fictional Paradise City, with no loading times and no traditional online lobbies or game menus. The song "Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses is the game's title music and also featured on the in-game soundtrack.

Best racing game I've tried so far.
Gives you about 10-15 great gameplay hours, and then you realize that the fact the cars have no driver in them, is more than just symbolic.

Aside from it being SLIGHTLY modified when it was ported, it's pretty sweet. I got my game for 20 bucks. That's the right price for it.

Terrible game for anyone who isnt brain dead or simply useless at racing games or never even played previous Burnout titles and just came out the womb.

Previous Burnout games have been very good, this takes all they learned and purges it, nothing good is left.

If you are any good you are still forced to plod along in slow cars, whats the point of only getting the fastest cars at the END of the game?

Races are pointless and unless you have memorized the whole level (as its open world) you spend most of the time lost or glancing at a MAP.. mid race!!! so basically you need to spend hours days learning every possible route.... its just fucking terrible it makes me angry!!!

The 2 Burnout games for the PSP were the best they made... sad times

Nice little arcade game to pass the time. Graphically pretty nice, though a lot of things I know from other Burnout games are missing. Like the Aftertouch Takedown etc.
