good program for NEF-files. Better rendering than photoshop. More detail and colors. But buggy with installation. Often not working. Needs to restart often
I use NX to convert my RAW (NEF) photo data into jpegs, I find it works quite well!, I do some "developing" and straitening/cropping. (only having to use Photoshop for removing unwanted bits, and making wallpapers for my laptop and phone).good thing about it is, there is no need to make a duplicate, as, if any thing is "wrong" just un tick the action, in the process ba,r and the action is reversed with no degridation. when finnished save in tif, jpeg or back to RAW.
