Simple load and forget, automatic back-up, with easy to understand interface. Can slow your PC down if you haven't been online in a while, but even then you can either dismiss backup or set its priority lower. Wonderful.

Simple, automatic and off-site. Best type of back-up imaginable and it's done right, no limits for storage, no tiered system. It's just incredible.

I've used it for about 1.5 yrs. Super simple to use, set and forget. Peace of mind is worth it. Seems cheap relative to S3 storage. I still use local backup too.

Carbonite only does a backup on the PC drive. Mozy will only backup mounted drives

Love it.. I don't have to think about backup anymore. I used to run a task to copy to another hard drive. (still do) but what if my house catches on fire? This eliminates that and many other issues.

I have high hope on this product but it does not seem to be able to restore file because no response after clicking the "Search for files to restore". Web site is hardly accessible.

A very nice product, except for the fact that you have to manually add video files. This pretty much makes the program useless if you're looking for a backup of your picture/video collection.

I have used for a year and yes it has saved me twice.

    The question arises:
Why spend this money vs. buying a large size USB drive.

Simple if the house burns down or is robbed, my data is still secure somewhere else - constantly.

    Well worth the money.

Set and forget. Very easy to use. My only complaint is there are times when it freezes the system for a second with heavy I/O.

Pros: Looks silently in the background. Idiot proof!
Cons: Network drives and USB drives are not supported. Max size of a single file is 2GB, but no overall limit to total backup volume.
Overall: Excellent value for money. It's already saved my bacon a few times.
