Great software for exploring the space in 3D
Outstanding educational tool for astronomy and astrophysics. Good scripting language for automation; extendable, and genuinely entertaining.
Add the flight capability of Orbiter and the quality/capability of NASA Worldwind to this and it would be the ultimate killer space application.... :)
