Even if it is a free product it is much better than most of the paid ones.I use it with AVG antivirus free edition and Adware 2008 free edition. To me this is the best pc security software configuration one can have.
It's a free firewall that blocks pretty much every menace you can face. It's easy to use and updates are always available.
It's not perfect. But it's good enough, especially for a Free Firewall
Amazing, i recommend this firewall.
Wow... MatouSEC's firewall test (http://www.matousec.com/projects/firewall-challenge/results.php) says #1 is Comodo Firewall :-o
GOOD!
I like this firewall.
Best free firewall!
comodo 2.4, great fire wall, good popup window, good system, good protection, bad icon admitation. 3.0, not as good.
i am happy i found this. i previously had zone alarm which was a resource hog. CFP is pretty lightweight, but the UI is a bit hard to use. apparently they're changing that in version 3.0
Say good bye to norton firewall and use about the best firewall there is Comodo plus its free which is handy and lite on resources
Great piece of free security software, commercial-quality firewall app. Can get naggy at times with all the alerts it pops up, but I can live with it.
better than zonealarm which used to make my games randomly crash
Excellent free firewall. Version 3.0 beta is out now and is awesome!
I don't really like personal firewalls but this one seems pretty good. You can tell it to just trust certain apps but sometimes it still needs to be convinced to trust an app completely (there are advanced settings). It keeps track of the parent processes so sometimes when you upgrade and the installer launches the app, it may lose the trust settings and keep bugging you. I like how you can set it up like IP tables in linux or just select applications to trust. You can also quickly turn it off from the task bar if you're about to do something that requires net access like some 'check for updates' programs need to have the firewall off.
