  User Account Control keeps auto-installing malware out of Windows Vista.

  This is otherwise known as UAC -- User Account Control. You know, on Vista, when the screen goes black and you have to give approval. Slightly annoying, but it's worth it.

  Oh, and despite reports and commercials that say otherwise, a feature similar to this has been in Mac OS and Linux variants for years.
