A great alternative to cmd.exe
Tabbed command line console
Much better than the basic console offered by cmd.exe. However, since cmd.exe will likely remain your shell, it doesn't really help if you want Unicode in your console; while Console supports Unicode it's still stuck with whatever code page your shell is running.
This is a wrapper around cmd.exe. Not a replacement. Never the less it's an awesome one.
Emulate de cmd like Linux terminal, customizing transparencies, fonts ans sizes.
The version 1.5 has fake transparency and 2.0 implements tabs.
A pretty handy cmd.exe replacement, made even better when you turn it into a Quake Style Console ^_^ http://www.instructables.com/id/%22Drop-Down%22%2c-Quake-style-command-prompt-for-Window/ (Note: This instructable is based on an older version, but it's not hard to make connections just by exploring the settings).
It allows to drop files on it's window, which is not avaiable in Vista's cmd.
a fan of this cmd.exe alternative for a while now.
Just basically works over the top of the basic cmd, adding a whole of extras. So you make it look better, but also more functional with tabs, and better copy and paste features
HOLY COW! A resizeable* console on windows... it is the real wow ...
*I know that you can do it with the "normal" console by going into properties and.... but I don't think that you want to do that often...
Much better than Windows Prompt and more customizable!
X-Fi Soundcard tool. No Windows-console thingy.
Just a normal cmd.exe on windows but more configurable. This can be setup with autohotkey to work just like yakuake in Windows. Some very pretty features if you play around with it.
Beats the default Command prompt on Windows, easily.
I think it's also one of the tools for Creative X-Fi soundcard.
no real reason for this thing... but if u spend any amount of time in shell... this is a great way to make it look nice.. transparencies and all...
