I used Corel from version 8. I tried to switch to Illustrator many times but
always returned to Corel. For me simple the best.

To be honest I've always hated Corel Draw, but I didn't tell them that when I
worked for Corel. ;) It has some handy features but the awful interface really
ruins everything. If you can't get something done, who cares what it can do?
Anyway that said I do use it for simple stuff, but I'm using an outdated version
so there's a lot it can't handle.

coreldraw is (sadly) only windows :(
my favoraite, working with it since version 4.0 I like it more than AI.

Only installed it because I needed to open some CDR files and could not find any alternatives. AGREED way too expensive.
