Improved an enormous amount with version 1.5. Reasons why this is a winner to me (over Versions):
- Easy overview of Changed/Modified/Conflicted/Missing/Unversioned in working copy.
- Easy overview of Today/This Week/This Month of repo.
- Easy filter for timeline view (incl. your/others commits).
- Inline search finding commits based on note, file name or author.
- Commit offers to add/ignore/cancel new files: never go home thinking you committed that important file but you didn't after all again.
- Local post-commit hooks possible. Using this to automatically update the webserver with the newly committed files.
- Great support for my compare/sync tool (DeltaWalker) with which it becomes incredibly easy to solve version conflicts.
- Very easy navigation through the working copy/repo.
This app saves me tons of time compared to other apps, definitely worth the price to me (practically live in it these days).
Does the job... the diff viewer is nice and has a neat interface.
The integrated diff viewer is awesome but in terms of interface I prefer Versions over Cornerstone. I've tried out two trial periods of Cornerstone and during both of them I found the software a little slow. Perhaps that was because it ran on my old PPC mac (a PowerBook G4). It's a good product but all in all I choose Versions because it felt more intuitive and was a little cheaper.
Good app for viewing and controlling Subversion repositories and working copies. Needs a few more features to go from Good to Great.
I have used several UI tools for subversion in the past but this is the one that appealed the most to me. Nice looking interface, integrated diff viewer, multiple repositories..
Would like to see n ability to view svn logs after commits and updates, this is a major feature missing from Cornerstone.
