Well, there's a rub here. Crysis had a great storyline, but it was bogged
down with too many factors. Aliens, Koreans, sure. Free-range world and insane
combat scenarios.
I will say there are some AI flukes. I hid myself inside a building and
nearly every enemy outside (about 30 guys) came inside the tiny little trailor
and were all bumping into me. So, naturally, I did the only thing I could do,
switched to Strengh and slammed out of there after tossing a grenade in the
midst of them.
That entire scenario was blown. I didn't see another enemy for about 10
minutes till i reached the next checkpoint.
There are quite a few upsides. The unique gameplay and melee vs. constant
shoot-em-up style. You can go invisible and snipe too, that's always fun.
Switching to strength and slamming a truck into a building and smashing the guys
in between. It's fun.
Did you know that NASA has a supercomputer they've been tweaking for some
time, and in the last year or so only managed to play the 1st level of Crisis on
max graphics? Insane.
I have a robust laptop, but Crysis was simply too much. I surpassed the min
requirements and still, it ran slow, and had lots of graphics issues. I tuned it
all the way down and it still had issues. There's simply too much there.
This game will stay MEMORABLE in gaming history for a lot of years!
Not only the graphics but also the GAMEPLAY(nano suit - open environements
- etc) is contributing to this fantastic gaming experience!!
As an action game, it's fantastic. The use of suit abilities is very fluid
and adds lots of interesting strategic potential. Like an action movie, it
doesn't need a great plot to be a great action game. The story is better than
Far Cry's, at least.
The game engine is beautiful - if you can run it. If your machine can run
this game on at least medium, then the graphics can forgive the okay storyline
and bad multiplayer gameplay. Still... the trees are droolworthy.
Greatest game and physics engine :)
I agree with Milaad, this game is a classic in its own time.
Good game. BTW, why is this game so high in played hours? I don't get it, the singleplayer is short and multiplayer is unpopular?

Nice SP but MP is dead. The engine's scalability is bad and definitely a game that is being pirated more than its bought.
And that means both of them. I liked Crysis Warhead better, because of the better story, although a short, and many more vehicles than in Crysis.
This game is just a wet dream

Crysis warhead also uses the same name under wakoopa
but anyway, its an awesome game
Total Awesomeness!!!

not as game, as technical demo preview :-)
Crysis Warhead was much better than the original, if a little on the short side. But worth it for the low price tag!

Storyline is average-ok but the graphics are awesome if you machine can keep up!
(wish mine could lol)
