I've got in in my toolbox because it's always recommended on anti-malware forums, but have never actually suffered from a CoolWebSearch infection.
Has anybody ever met anybody who has?

Trend Micro CWShredder Gets Rid of CoolWebSearch Reminants etc. Doesn't update anymore.
