is it dead?
I can't for the life of me figure out how to uninstall this app. It works just fine but the backgrounds grew boring (kept seeing the same ones over and over again) and nothing seems to work to remove it. Can anyone help?
This app stopped working for me a while ago and their website seems to be down. Does anybody have more info on this?

It is in really one of those apps that you install - and then forget about =) I often gets surprise when other peoples desktops don't change ever fifth minute ;D
better wallpapers switcing
Great application, lets me have a fresh wallpaper quickly whenever i like it.
Good selection of wallpapers, it also has a rating system for them.
The novelty's worn off and I want to uninstall Desktoptopia but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I did a Spotlight search for the pref pane and trashed that but the app keeps returning whenever I reboot my computer. Any ideas?
An excellent app with a great selection of wallpapers. The images can easily be downloaded by dragging the image out of the Desktop & Screen Saver section of System Preferences & dropping it into a folder.
i really like this, mainly i always end up changing my wallpaper so this is a major time saver. though i wish there was a way to save the current desktop to my pictures.
overall a great app
Timesaver for people who like to change up their backgrounds from time to time.
The app lacks the option of reviewing your top rated or favorite backgrounds (rating by the way is sometimes disabled - probably a bug).
All in all, a great app (which could do with some TLC from it's developers)

Great application. I could never find good wallpapers, this is my answer.
I really love how this thing works. The wallpapers are high quality, and being able to click to an artists' site directly from your tray icon is awesome. I wonder if they make any money by promoting these artists? That would be even more awesome.
And by the way: are the wallpapers I receive based on my ratings?
its great, just about every wallpaper that has come up, i liked it lol.
And setting the change time to 10 seconds is interesting to say the least haha
Lots of great wallpapers, but it only changes the one on my secondary display. I set it to change every couple of seconds so it would download a bunch, them disabled it and picked the ones I liked out of ~/Library/Application Support/Desktoptopia/.Backgrounds/
