Integrated development environment (IDE) distributed under the GNU General Public License for programming in C/C++. It is bundled with the open source MinGW compiler. The IDE is written in Delphi. The program itself has a look-and-feel similar to that of the more widely-used Microsoft Visual Studio. One additional aspect of Dev-C++ is its use of DevPaks, packaged extensions on the programming environment with additional libraries, templates, and utilities. DevPaks often contain, but are not limited to, GUI utilities, including popular toolkits such as GTK+, wxWidgets, and FLTK. Other DevPaks include libraries for more advanced function use.

Great for coding!
Awesome development environment for C++
it's great and has a portable version to be greater
I'm using it because it's pretty simple and fast. But it cannot be compared with other C IDEs like Netbeans or Codeblocks, respecting the Interface and the Features.
I Like it alot.
I'm using it to learn C++ !!!!!!
It's free and small, and a good C++ Compiler.
I Like it !
My favourite C++ compiler. :) But I wonder why, when I change project name, the filenames are still the same. Even if I rebuild the whole project :O
I like it. It's my favourite C++ editor
This is my main compiler. At least until I return to my lovely Linux OS.
