The goal of dict.cc is to make it possible to share your vocabulary knowledge with the world. This is the main difference to other translation services - every user is encouraged to contribute to the dictionary by adding and/or verifying English-German translation suggestions. The resulting vocabulary database can be downloaded, but please note that this is just a flat text file, not translation software (although the data might be usable for dictionary software).… More Edit
