Direct X Setup \ DXDiag ..
An API that began the Windows Gaming Revolution, granted OpenGL did quite a bit to displace a few of it's functions, Direct X is still an industry benchmark API and without it, our Modern Gaming era would be vastly different, perhaps more open, but more likely less colorful.
In VVVV you can do awesome things thanks to this toolchain.

I prefer OpenGL, but it works well.

DirevtX 9.0 is very usefull for games
I use it to play Dance Battle Audition in Windowed mode. Never gave me a problem!

Having direct x10 with an intel graphics card change the quality of graphics or it is the same as with direct x9????????
