The 19th most popular operating process on Mac OS X

In Mac OS X the Dock is used as a repository for any program or file in the operating system. It can hold any number of items, and resizes them dynamically to fit while using magnification to clarify smaller resized items. It can be placed on the left, right, or default bottom edge of the screen to accommodate the user.

Yeah, the dock kind of rocks. Best used on the side with no magnification/auto-hide.

I like the dock a lot. It's a really intuitive way of interacting with a computer. Not a lot of options right from the box, but that's okay.

A great change from Windows. I made the switch 4+ years ago and have never regretted it. The dock is getting long in the tooth and the new Snow leopard upgrades are appreciated. Am looking forward to updates in the future. :)

The Dock is one of those programs you don't think about and take for granted. I like to set my default size really small and make expand really large when you zoom in. This way I can fit many more programs on the dock but still be able to see them to click. My Dock is full! I think I need a double decker or something! B-)
