I don't agree, sanchoboy. I use both and the one doesn't replace the other
for the way I use it. In my dock are the apps in which I frequently open all
kinds of documents, like for instance the Adobe software, OpenOffice and some
photo applications. Those are the ones with which I want to select certain files
in my Finder and then open those files in specific software. All other software,
which I just have to launch and don't have to open files in (iCal, iTunes,
Firefox and all other browsers, Thunderbrird...), aren't in my Dock because I
use Quicksilver for those.
