DOSBox is a sweet DOS emulator for running oldschool games like SpaceQuest and Leisure Suit Larry. :D Works great.
It's great to play classic 1980s & 1990s DOS games on my 2000s PC. It brings back memories of inserting 5 1/4 inch disks to play games.

The interface is ridiculous even for DOS, and I don't see how keeping it's dysfunction and confusion means compatibility.
But if you like old games, it's a necessity.
