Synchronization between my computers at home and at school. Great!
Great! 私にとってなくてはならないツール。IDisk Toolと併用してるッス^^
This software make me home when I'm at office.
Great to backup some files remotely that can be opened in any computer with internet or simply share files with friends with just a drag'n'drop and two clicks, all done through my OS file manager. A free account has 2GB and can get up to 3GB using the referral system.
Second best virtual USB drive.
It's not accurate to call it a demo as stated in the license. It's a completely free service that gives you 2GB of space with unlimited number of clients. $99/year gives you 50GB and $199/year gets you 100GB.
You can get a free 250MB if you sign up with this link: http://dan.hersam.com/go/dropbox
Best online storage I have ever used. It is integrated seamlessly with Windows.
Saves my life when I am coding. When I change computers I don't have to worry about losing anything. Would suggest it for any OS (Windows, OSX , and Linux). Definitely a lifesaver.
a fantastic piece of software that I use almost exclusively for work as I both window$ and linux boxes (primarily linux but window$ for an app or two that don't port) and so this is the bomb as it has great support for both systems. I have yet to try it on a mac, but I can't imagine that it would work any less well.
DropBox is the best file sharing app i ever seen, i sync all my work stuff (instead of code) on all of my computers through DropBox and use it as a very simple hosting for files i publish on the Web
I really love this app
I really like dropbox but im only using the 2 GB free storage. I would buy more storeage if they would release dropbox.d under a Free Software License. They have a GPL'ed plugin for nautilus but you have to use the non-free daemon. I'm actually looking forward to Ubuntu One which will do the same thing and possibly be a bit freeer.
This program works very well for getting data synchronized between computers, and available anywhere from the web. It is also a nice collaboration tool, as you can share directories with other dropbox members.
Great for sync between computers and collaboration.
Not only did Dropbox make backing up your files dead simple, but they've made the best online storage website, computer-to-computer sycronization app, one of the best file sharing websites, and a killer version control app to boot.
