Dropbox is a storage application and service operated by Evenflow, Inc. The service enables users to store and sync files online and between computers. A free Dropbox account offers 2 GB of storage. Users may upgrade to 50GB or 100GB by paying a monthly or yearly fee. The total amount of storage space of both the free and fee-based accounts may be increased by an extra 3 GB for free accounts and 6 GB for fee-based accounts by referring others to the service. While Dropbox functions as a storage service, its focus is on synchronization and sharing. Dropbox synchronization uses SSL transfers with AES-256 encryption, and it supports revision history, so files deleted from the Dropbox folder may be recovered from any of the synced computers. Dropbox's version control also helps users know the history of a file they may be currently working on, enabling more than one person to edit and re-post files without complications of losing its previous form. There is no limit to file size for files added via the Dropbox application, but files transferred through the web interface are capped at 350 MB. Dropbox uses Amazon's S3 storage system to store the files.

Great. Couldn't get much better, but it keeps finding ways.
Dropbox itself as a multi platform app is best described as the 2GB USB sick you won't lose, and with all good apps of this type if you are not on a machine with Dropbox installed, there is a web app to do all the data management of your files you need. From managing files, to getting others involved using shares, this tool is a quick and easy access to the core files you may need on a day to day basis. Its FTP for people who can't quite figure out Filezilla.
Amazing for sharing with others and accessing files remotely. Once comfortable with the application you can do cool things with symbolic links etc. Great App!
Very handy tool. Not bogged up with a bunch of crap.
i like it ...i use one account with other friends to share with them
How come when I click 'VISIT' button, it takes me to 'Various Software' page?
I'm loving it to bits. Can't think about my data without Dropbox anymore. Fast, stable, trusty, powerful and extremely easy to use. I just wish I had more space on the free account.
Very nice backup tool for all plataforms!
great and free equivalent for iDisk from MobileMe service! Like it..
One of the best applications I've ever used. This app becomes really handy when you got more than one PC.
Fantastic product. it has to be one of the best online storage services that I have used. Works great for sharing files between people and across platforms.
simple, reliable and useful! a tad on the expensive side unless you plan to use all the space. more selective sharing would be nice, but it works perfectly as advertised to invisibly sync files between multiple computers. hasn't let me down yet.
Useful software & service for file sharing. Not buggy and this is well.
great. quick and easy. thought the need to improve the linux version to work normally with kde
great
