I've used it to rip 95% of my DVDs. There's one or two discs it doesn't work with, but they are few and far between.
i'm getting error messages when trying to shrink dvds however it works well.
Less of a ripper, because it doesn't actually decrypt anything. It simply copies over data from the DVD disc but it has the ability to compress the content so that you can fit a dual layer DVD to a single layer DVD disc.....for the purposes of backing up....of course. :-) I use this if I wish to watch a DVD on a long distance trip on my laptop.

works for dvd-to-folder copying on almost all dvd's (for backup to external hdd or to burn with Nero), for the ones that wont copy, i use Slysoft AnyDVD along with DVD Shrink
