DxO is a great tool for both professional and enthousiast photographers who like to shoot in RAW - So good in fact that pictures taken with a standard lens and processed with DxO seem to have been taken with top-quality lens!! The features I prefer are: lens sharpness correction / lens distortion correction / lightning correction of under-exposed areas (dynamic range booster)
The only cons according to me is its relative slowness and heavy-CPU usage when processing images - my workaround is to select a few images and tweak the parameters for them, test them and then apply the same presets on the others RAW images shot in similar conditions. Then I launch the process and take an hour break, and voila!
