PErformance is poor. I have 3 games on my account (Mirror's Edge, Dead Space and Mercenaries 2) and i can't install them because it tells me i don't have enough space. Ea customer support wont help :/
I usually close this one down if I remember to think about it. I really only have it cause it came with the install of another game, and I couldn't tell it not to install.

A terrible part of EA's DRM system, EA download manager pales in comparison to a true game download service like the wonderful Steam client.

Meh... It's not too bad...
The downloader for EA's terrible download service. I use it for keeping Spore up-to-date, although it doesn't do anything unless the game is running so I don't know why it's a separate application. Also doesn't seem to save my login info and I have to re-enter it if I manually restart the application.
Real horrid to tell you the truth.
