The 8th most popular ripper on Windows

Exact Audio Copy is a so called audio grabber for audio CDs using standard CD and DVD-ROM drives. The main differences between EAC and most other audio grabbers are : * It is free (for non-commercial purposes) * It works with a technology which reads audio CDs almost perfectly. If there are any errors that can’t be corrected, it will tell you on which time position the (possible) distortion occurred, so you could easily control it with e.g. the media player.

Not the fastest ripper out there, but if you're ripping to lossless, why would you skimp on accuracy?

Great, simple to use (Though some encoders are a bitch to set up) and logical.

Set it to use MusicBrainz and your tags are accurate to begin with, too!

This is extremely good, but takes a while to customize it for your needs. It's not like CDex which you can just download and run. However, this has way more features and presumably higher quality rips (especially with scratched CDs)

Great, great ripper if used correctly and appropriately! A bit complex for beginner audio rippers, but has a lot to offer the experienced audiophile!

also the greatest ripper I've used, can't believe its free.

does have the drawback of being a bit difficult to set up on some systems, but 95% of the time can be made to work with some tweaking of the options. If you can't get it to work then CDex is a good alternative, but just not as many options, or quick and reliable as EAC in my opinion.
