This is the best the largest software company in the world can do for email on the Mac? Version 2008 is about the same as Outlook 97. It's interesting they can make Word, Powerpoint and Excel work well. Email seems to be a whole different set of problems.
If Apple ever finds a way to run .exe's natively, this program will be gone from my computer.
it sux, but i have to use this @ work with exchange server
Has 2008 improved over 2004? Yes.
Has 2008 met my expectations? No.
Entourage 2008 does not have the same feature set as Outlook 2007 for Windows. The ONLY reason I'm using it is because I need to connect into the exchange server. I'm very disappointed in the fact that tasks, notes, categories, and a plethora of other items are missing that are available from the PC version. Mail does have exchange support for e-mail but I'm still looking for a replacement for all the other items; calendar, notes, tasks, etc.
I wish mail.app supported exchange. I'm not really to happy with Entourage.
I use this on my Mac mainly for the Exchange server at work. It's stable and I don't have any problems with it.
