The 33rd most popular educational tool on Windows

e-Sword is a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. It is modularized, and you can add a variety of free Bible texts, commentaries, dictionaries, graphics, devotions, and other extras. Most of the modules are available at no charge, though some Bible texts do require a payment. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software.

A great program to use for anything from looking up a specific verse or subject, or more heavy research. It's convenient and free (for the most part, there is a cost for some translations) and relatively lightweight.

E-Sword - I shall say one of the best Christian & bible resource software out there. Just pay at least $15 & you will have access to lots of references - bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, maps, devotionals & other references.

e-Sword is great, easy to use, lots of features, its free with alot of free modules, on the downside, NIV and NASB modules cost money, but its well worth checking out!
